Actually, it might be 3 weeks between the actual competitions (depending on the scheduling for each category), but they do go to Germany earlier before the competition.

It can get really tiring to have back-to-back competitions, but 2 weeks space in between should be good enough. 3 weeks would have been better though - most countries already have done their nationals it looks like from the news, and naming their Worlds team. USA Nationals is about two weeks before the Worlds, which is the set-up for which teams go to the Beijing Olympics. Is it too close?? Marta thinks it's good:

I agree. Makes sense! The gyms probably don't pay that much for the lower level teachers/coaches, so they can't be that picky. Reminds me of the Oprah show they did on losing weight and they picked like 5 women and 1 man to do the program. The man is an owner of a workout gym and he was saying how he feels he's a fraud/fake for being overweight and out of shape and owning the gym.

I got my back walkover before bridge kickover too - but in a lot of classes they sometimes don't give you the option to do a back walkover until you pass the level with the bridge kickover - mine wasn't like that though, which is fun because it could be more tailored to each gymnast.

the flat flexmetal kind is great! ya we use them on the ankles and waist too. just for conditioning; we don't use them while doing skills like some other gyms do, cuz that changes ur whole balance and center of gravity, and can mess up the skill.
