Raising money for booster club
Hey guys, what does your gym do to raise money for the booster club? We have always done selling See's Candies chocolates, and wrapping paper, but we're going through new ideas to raise more money. We're planning more out-of-town trips this year, as our optionals team is growing! Thanks!

We're selling sponsor ad space on our gym chat club teams web, selling chocolate, and innsbrook stuff.

We're doing something similar to this: from http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=526734:
Plan ahead and make today the day to register for the Wildcard Gymnastics Holiday Drop and Shop event. This will ensure your child a spot from 2 to 6 p.m. on Dec. 16. That means four hours of blissful shopping time for you for the gymnast in your life while the kiddie enjoys open gym, crafts and pizza. The price is $20 per person for non-Wildcard members; $17 a person for members. Registration ends Dec. 13. Wildcard Gymnastics is at 2028 N. 60th St. in Milwaukee. Call (414) 801-0546 or see www.wildcard-gymnastics.com.
Maybe they go through these ideas with the clubs during gymnastics Congress. :D

Fundraiser with Red Alert
Quote:
Aloha Booster Club members and Gym owners, My name is Carolyn Feyling. I've been a gymnast for 25 years and counting, a coach for 9 years and counting, and a wife and mother of 2. Since having my family, paying for meets fees, coaching fees, and all the extras, I have to rely on fundraising to pay for the sport that I love and refuse to give up. I work with Red Alert Industries in the fundraising program. Our company sells emergency and disaster preparedness supplies to agencies, schools, and companies across the nation. Our fundraiser will give your organization the opportunity to sell something of valus to the community-the chance to be prepared in the event of an emergency. Your kids will be able to offer our first aid kits, emergency road kits, outdoor skin kits, Avian flu kits, and our newest product line-P.E.M.A.: Pet Emergency Management Aid-for all a pet's needs during a disaster. Your organization will earn 40% of the net profit, plus we have a new rewards program for your top sellers. Recently we had 9 pre-school children raise their pre-school program $1000 in 15 days. This is a wonderful opportunity for your organization to make money with a product line that has proven success. We look forward to joining you in raising money for your organization and ensuring the safety of our future. Please contact to receive our introduction fundraising packet including our new rewards program for the top sellers! Sincerely, Carolyn Feyling and the Red Alert Fundraising Team 1-800-585-1094 office carolyn@redalert-industries.com email www.redalert-industries.com web page

If you're a good cook, you could sell cookies or prepared meals for harried mothers who work outside of the home. You could also sell Avon or Tubberware and use the proceeds from that.
