double workout
Anyone have double workout in the summer schedule, or in general? Some people choose double workouts in the summer, a couple hours then a break, then some more hours. But if you workout right and have access to the equipment and the coaches and don't just have to wait around for your turn, it makes sense that it's not always necessary. It's nice when you don't have to wait your turn, you get to go with the momentum, you know. The boys have less practice than most of the girls in gym because the boys teams are smaller and so get to workout more efficiently...maybe they should change up how the girls team is formatted, so you don't have to wait around for your turn so much.

It's nice to work with a couple other people around your level so that you can watch each other and learn from each other, but not so many in your workout group that you get bored having to wait your turn. It's not just less efiicient, it's less fun, better to go go go, allez allez allez lol. Ya old song I know lol. Anyways, the best workout I say is one that is flexible and if you want to practice more one day you can, and if you want to practice less one day you can, etc. Double workouts can be good in that you can have a break between workouts, it's not straight through, but it's nice if it's tailored to you so that it will be beneficial and you can have options.

some clubs have the girls playing games during practice, maybe that's why they push for double workouts or double workouts in the summer because there's no school, more time, and maybe also to make sure to keep in shape in the summer, and/or double workouts during the week, and then weekends off yup, it's great when you have options and choices in your practice schedule.
