no, I'd miss the y too much. Plus, I have cheerleading practice and it's really hard to balance both. The coach isn't my favorite either. The hs parctices 3 hrs a day 6 days a week. W/ cheerleading and ap world history, I'd be burned out in less than a month.

ya, that's a lot of practice your hs has! 3hrs a day, 6 days a week, that's almost like the optionals in club gymnastics (with 4 hrs a day, 6 days a week)!

yup, esp. if they're really bossy! Howell doesn win the champs.: "Fobes, Howell gymnasts are No. 1 in Shore Colts Neck third at conference championships " - http://newstranscript.gmnews.com/news/2006/1101/Sports/080.html The elite gymnast leading the team:
Leading the way at Brick Memorial High School was sophomore Austyn Fobes, the all-around champion. Anyone who has followed her this year cannot be surprised at her capturing the AA title in her first try. But it's how she did it that was so impressive. She set a new meet record with her 38.25, topping last year's champion, Lindsay Diamond of Colts Neck (37.5). She won the uneven bars in a meet record 9.725 and set another meet record in the floor exercise, tying for first with teammate Brianna Ecklof. Both scored 9.725.
Ya, it totally helps to have club gymnasts on your high school team, especially an elite gymnast! I like club gymnastics more, so I don't do hs team - the coaches for hs team are a little unknowledgeable, it's almost like it's cheerleading. Here's some more articles on hs: "HHS gymnasts healthier as state meet arrives" - http://www.hutchnews.com/sports/stories/gymnastics110406.shtml "Howell hoping for sectional success" - http://www.app.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061104/SPORTS01/611040516
