ya, less than club gymnastics, but more than high school gymnastics! a lot of high school gymnasts that compete for their hs do club sports to though!! :-)

College gymnasts usually have to workout five days a week for 3 hours, especially if they're on scholarship. They have to miss class a lot to travel around to other schools for competition, meets are on the weekends. Some universities have club gymnastics programs too that don't cut in your education or social life, it's more you get to make the choices.

most gyms, if not all, let you try out the class you would be in for at least a day, then you can watch how the coach interacts with the kids, and also ask your daughter how she likes it.....personally, i like the coaches that spot you rather than just stand there with their arms crossed, watching you fall, and screaming at you! :D
