Maybe more lefties. When you start gymnastics at a young age, you kind of just copy whatever your coach and the other girls/boys in your class are showing you. You might switch to the other side, you might not. A few of the righties in the Worlds event finals today: Sandra Izbasa (Romania) Ally Raisman (USA, Brestyan's club) Lauren Mitchel (Australia)

I think there are more 'lefties' than 'righties' in gymnastics, don't you think? I mean in terms of the gymnastics moves - which hand/leg you lead with...not which hand you write with...they apparently don't always coincide with each other. Especially on the elite & world scene.

Sounds like Nastia Liukin is probably going to do a comeback...she already started with floor music chosen and some spins around the bars - video from her iphone was on "Around The Gym" on Universal Sports TV. Those infomercials were hilarious - it was on again Friday night during the all-around finals on Universal Sports TV. Reminded me of the comedy infomercials during the Dancing With The Stars show Monday, the Bruno dance video and rubber steps that can teach you how to dance and you can also use as salad scoopers...of course difference is that the DWTS was meant to be funny.
