I think there are more 'lefties' than 'righties' in gymnastics, don't you think? I mean in terms of the gymnastics moves - which hand/leg you lead with...not which hand you write with...they apparently don't always coincide with each other. Especially on the elite & world scene.

Maybe more lefties. When you start gymnastics at a young age, you kind of just copy whatever your coach and the other girls/boys in your class are showing you. You might switch to the other side, you might not. A few of the righties in the Worlds event finals today: Sandra Izbasa (Romania) Ally Raisman (USA, Brestyan's club) Lauren Mitchel (Australia)
