Some tips:
Make sure your jump to the bar is good, glide far, then bring your ankles to the bar, then pull up
On my team we did a lot of conditioning to learn it, and drop kips and practicing the glide swing part of it, and also practicing it with spot. The conditioning: lots of v-ups, when standing holding a weight down with arms down and then lifting it up over your head with straight arms, and planches, planches with those floor roller things too (Big 5 has them). Actually, that's like conditioning you do in the later levels too lol, but those should help your kip!
