You could work on your splits and other flexibility - like the pancake stretch, pike stretch, and do leg kicks. Also work on your strength - push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, toe rises, ...arms/abs/legs. You'll also gain a lot of strength and flexibility from the gymnastics moves themselves once you start gymnastics class.

I thought 'Make It Or Break It' summer season premier was starting yesterday 10pm - the commercials were on for it along with 'Secret Life of the American Teenager' - but only 'Secret Life of the American Teenager' was on and the 'Mean Girls' movie after it. My favorite ice dance pair is Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto. They came in 4th after the compulsories, but they are still in medal contention, as compulsories count for 25% of the score - 2 more dances to go. It's weird how the compulsory tango dance music ends - or doesn't end - with the dance...it's not 'tailored'.

Here levels 5/6 is compulsory, and levels 7,8,9,10 optionals, and then elite.
