bridge kickover vs. back walkover
Back walkover is a lot easier than bridge kickover don't you guys think? On back walkover you get that momentum speed and on bridge kickover you better have a good combo of shoulder/back flexibility and muscle to push over. I got my back walkover before bridge kickover. And actually my front walkover first, before back walkover.

I got my back walkover before bridge kickover too - but in a lot of classes they sometimes don't give you the option to do a back walkover until you pass the level with the bridge kickover - mine wasn't like that though, which is fun because it could be more tailored to each gymnast.

the gyms that don't make u fit in a pre-set mold rock! :D For bridge kickover if you're working on it to get it by yourself without spot, it's good to try to kickover from panel mats, like maybe 2 on each other to start - put your legs on it, your hands on the floor - then try to kickover from your bridge. Then try it with lower and lower mats, take one panel mat out, and you can also like half a panel mat you know (like fold it open, to make it lower, etc.) When you try to kickover from bridge and from back walkover - same for front walkover too - keep your shoulders open, to your ears, and push! Make sure your hands and legs are close enough together so that you have a good bridge - that will make it easier too.
