Just remember the Safety Tips, importantly: 1) Do NOT post any personal identifying information, such as your last name, phone number, street address, email address, or web address. 2) Be careful about who you add to your Posse friend list; people may not always be who they say they are. Don't agree to meet anyone you don't know in person and don't give them any personal information. 3) If you feel like someone is not following the rules or is acting in a bad way, tell a trusted adult and report their account to Gym Chat admin. Check out the safety tips for gymnast webs also at http://www.gymchat.com/gymnastwebs/safetytips.php . Remember also, if someone says they think they know you, and then ask for personal identifying info. to 'confirm it', DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION then either!! Keep your parent/guardians 'in the loop' (i.e. involved/informed) also! You are anonymous on Gym Chat, so we hope you do not feel embarassed to talk about anything on the message boards. We hope you find this community to be caring.

cartwheelz4camel: Don't worry about embarassing yourself! First of all you're anonymous on here! (If you're going to post a review of your gymnastics club, you might want to have a separate username than your message boards one for the listings/reviews directory!! :D ). It reminds me of Vanessa Atler, she wrote on her web when she was a competitive gymnast I think that once at WOGA when she was just starting there or when they were visting her or something, she fell down and was too embarassed to check if she got a bruise or cut...I say - check!! It's fun to talk to a group - who knows, someone else may have the same questions / comments...or answers.
