Vanessa Ferrari competed in a sleevless leo at the Worlds at Stuttgart this year. USA all long-sleeve leos. More of the teams did the long sleeve leos than the sleevless tank leos. I would go with the sleevless tank leos, b/c like you say kat - it's better when you're hot and it's more comfortable too.

It looks like Vanessa just taped her tape grips down around her wrists during her team finals bars routine, rather than tie the tape around her wrist like she did for her bars routine during event finals at Worlds, like a lot of the Chinese gymnasts, so maybe that's because the tape was new.
