for practice: mostly braid/french braid, sometimes pony tail, sometimes bun for competition: french braid!! works for all events! :D what about u?

practice: high ponytail with a little hairspray to keep it out of my face. competition:1. one of those spider webs, pulled into a pony with the rest of the hair. 2. four mini braids on top of my hair, rest-pony tail. My mom loves learning new hairstyles. At one of the overnight meets, her and the other moms actually sit around and show each other how to do dif. hairstyles!

i do ponytail and braid. clips are fun and work good too! i like doing color clips, kind of like Elena Produnova!! she likes bright colors too!

our club requires the girls to put hair in buns for competition...boys can do whatever they want... :D control freaks huh? anyone else's gym requires this? a lot of the girls use the spider-web net things to hold the bun up, esp. for heavy/long hair...i dont think the bun works for everyone tho, esp. for competitions. for practice: ponytail / braid or bun i like the bright color clips too! more fun than the hair-colored bobby pins! and they stay in better too - sometimes u can find bobby pins that fell on the tumbling floor! guess the bun rule is there so that the whole team looks the same, idk...anyways, funny thing comes to mind: 'there's no i in team, but there is a me!' - a bunch of them really! lol :D

bun comes out during routines, i like ponytail and braid and some clips! plus ponytail and braid feels lighter and it's more flat-like so u can do the back extension moves w/o bumping ur head! sucks if u don't get to pick your own hair style. some girls like buns, some dont...it's like tomato, tomaato, u know lol.

I find that the bun comes out too... What is the spiderweb thing that was mentioned, does anyone have some pics of it?
