The Roxy Pro Promises Plenty Of Drama While the men just closed the book on the first leg of their Vans Triple Crown the women are gearing up for the second leg of the Triple Crown with the Roxy Pro (which doubles as both a World Tour event and a Triple Crown event). When the event begins tomorrow out on Sunset Beach in Oahu there'll be two main stories to follow, the first being hometown girl Megan Abubo's chase for the Triple Crown. Abubo had been previously struggling (by her standards) for much of this year's Tour but with her dominating performance at the Reef Hawaiin Pro (both the first leg of the Triple Crown and a 6 star WQS event) she assured herself a berth (her 12th) in next year's Tour relieving some of the pressure she's been dealing with. Abubo now is looking to see if she can ride the momentum she built for herself at the Reef Hawaiin Pro and grab another win at the Roxy Pro to boost her chance at earning the Triple Crown as well as her first Tour win of the season.
