California standout Nathan Adrian continued his dominance in the sprint freestyle as the Golden Bear star captured the 100-meter freestyle Thursday night (August 19) at the 2010 Mutual of Omaha Pan Pacific Championships in Irvine, Calif. Adrian, who will be a senior at Cal this upcoming collegiate season and is a two-time NCAA champion in the 100-yard free, swam a time of 48.15 at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center in Irvine, topping runner-up Brent Hayden from Canada (48.19) and Cesar Cielo from Brazil (48.48).
