Former California star Dana Vollmer won two titles to lead a contingent of nine Golden Bears in the trio of Mare Nostrum meets that recently concluded in Europe. Vollmer, the 2009 NCAA Swimmer of the Year and 2004 Olympic gold medalist, claimed the 100-meter butterfly race twice - on June 12 in Canet en Roussillon, France, with a time of 58.72 and on June 5 in Monaco with a time of 58.91 - in the long-course competitions.
