California's Caitlin Leverenz was selected as the 2010 Pac-10 Freshman/Newcomer of the Year in a vote by the conference coaches, the Pac-10 announced on Wednesday. Leverenz, who set the school record in the 400-yard individual medley in her first year as a Golden Bear, is the second straight Cal swimmer to earn the award.
