Following its' best showing at the Big West Conference Swimming and Diving Championships, UC Davis was honored with three of the six major conference honors. It was announced Wednesday that juniors Heidi Kucera and Scott Weltz were named Men's and Women's Athlete of the Year, while coach Pete Motekaitis was honored as the Men's Coach of the Year. It marks the first major Big West honors for Kucera and Motekaitis and the second conference honors for Weltz following Freshman of the Year accolades three seasons ago. More...
