Cal Men's Swimming Successful in Day Two of NCAA Championships NCAA Swimming Page | Host UW Men's Swimming Page The No. 11-ranked Cal men's swimming team had another successful day at the 2008 NCAA Championships, held at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Wash. The Golden Bears were paced by freshman Damir Dugonjic placing second in the nation in the 100 breast with a time of 52.61, and junior David Russell finishing third in the 100 back with a school-record time of 45.42. Additionally, Cal finished third in the 200 medley relay with a school-record time of 1:24.50 (Russell, Dugonjic, senior Jernej Godec, senior Joe Whittington). The Bears sit in fourth place with 222.50 points, trailing only Arizona (376), Texas (285) and Stanford (231).
