Cal Women's Swimming Poised for Success at Pac-10 Championships Regarded as one of the best innovators, educators and mentors in women's swimming, head coach Teri McKeever has her Golden Bears prepared for success at the Pac-10 Championships, Feb. 27-Mar. 1 in Long Beach at the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool. McKeever will certainly rely on the veteran presence of junior Dana Vollmer - a world class swimmer who has come on strong down the stretch of the season; Emily Silver - the senior co-captain who has dominated the freestyle events all season long; and Lauren Rogers - the junior who has maintained total control of the backstroke events all year long. This year's Cal team has an excellent balance of leadership, desire and drive to bring home a Pac-10 title to Berkeley.
