West Ham United got exactly what they needed Saturday, as the East London outfit produced an excellent away performance for a comfortable 3-1 victory over Southampton at St. Mary's. After winning two straight Premier League fixtures, West Ham (9-4-11) were knocked back to earth in midweek with a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City.
