Charlie Austin scored twice against his former team to help Southampton run their unbeaten stretch over all competitions to seven games with a 3-1 victory over Burnley on Sunday at St. Mary's Stadium. Austin, who played for parts of three seasons with Burnley earlier this decade, opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, then following Nathan Redmond's strike eight minutes later, converted a penalty kick in the 66th. The Saints (3-3-2) are 3-1-0 in their last four Premier League contests and including Europa League and EFL Cup play, 5-2-0 since falling 2-0 at Arsenal in top-flight action Sept. 10.
