Manchester City maintained their perfect start to the season with a 2-1 victory over United in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Kevin de Bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho. Zlatan Ibrahimovic cut City's lead in half but it wasn't enough as Pep Guardiola got one over on old rival Jose Mourinho once again. City were by far the better side in the opening half and De Bruyne was instrumental in both goals, nicking the ball away from Daley Blind before slotting past David de Gea for the first.
