Liverpool-Southampton Preview (The Associated Press)
Two sides with genuine Champions League ambitions meet on Sunday as Southampton welcome Liverpool to St Mary's. The Saints (14-4-7) are fourth in the table on 46 points and have suffered just one defeat in their last nine league matches. Southampton were held to a goalless draw at home by 10-man West Ham in their most recent league outing on Feb. 11, even though the visitors had goalkeeper Adrian sent off on 60 minutes for handling the ball outside the area. Southampton didn't have a FA Cup fixture last weekend or a midweek European match, so will be relatively fresh for Liverpool's trip to the South Coast. Saints manager Ronald Koeman insists he will be aiming to take maximum points from the Reds. More...
