After opening the season with a win over the defending MLS Cup champions, the Seattle Sounders couldn't close their homestand with another victory. The Sounders won't have Clint Dempsey available in their attempt to bounce back Sunday and spoil the delayed home opener for the Montreal Impact, who will play again without top striker Marco Di Vaio. This game was originally scheduled for Saturday but was pushed back a day due to expected snow in Montreal and a fear of accumulation on the Olympic Stadium roof. Seattle, meanwhile, likely couldn't have started this season in more exciting fashion after Chad Barrett's goal in stoppage time gave it a 1-0 win over Sporting Kansas City on March 8.
