West Ham United and Swansea will each try to build on positive midweek results when they clash at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday. Swansea (6-6-11) secured a first league win in nine when they overcame Fulham 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday. The Hammers were accused of playing "football from the 19th century" by Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho following their 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday but manager Sam Allardyce credited his team with a defensive display of "sheer brilliance". West Ham (4-7-12) haven't conceded a goal away from home in 204 minutes of play across three games including a win at Cardiff and the Chelsea draw. But it is at Upton Park, where they have the worst home record in the division that Allardyce is looking for a marked improvement.
