Abby Wambach's goal in the closing seconds of stoppage time during the 2011 Women's World Cup quarterfinals has been voted best moment in U.S. soccer history. The goal, a header off a cross from Megan Rapinoe, came with the Americans about 90 seconds from being ousted by Brazil. But Wambach's goal tied the game 2-2, and the U.S. went on to beat Brazil in penalty kicks. To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the U.S. Soccer Federation asked fans to select all-star teams for both men and women, as well as best overall moment.
