Me too! Taping your grips holes works good. :D
You have to be careful about your grips not coming off your fingers during your routine and make sure they have a good fit. One girl had one of her grips come off from her fingers during competition, and my coach stopped her routine, because you could get grips lock, get stuck on the bar, or something like that, dangerous. It sounds like you're talking about an animal when you say behave or behavior - you know like in those pet training things, they say, behave...but ya, I don't use it on my pets either.
A club that doesn't spot? Anyone go to one? At the higher levels, there's less spotting when you've already learned the skills and you're practicing your routines, but even then there's spotting for new skills, form, warm-up, etc.
I don't think it's right when someone uses the word 'behave' and its other forms of the word on kids and people...I don't even use it on my pets. It sounds demeaning.
