yeah we got new bars like in november 06 we have 2 pairs of bars

my old gym would kind of rotate the bars - the ones that get older and have black spots from the wood coming off and the fiber glass showing they would put on the low bar, preferably at one that is just a low bar station, not uneven bars...but after a while they were getting careless about it and there were black fiber glass spots on a lot of the bars and they weren't buying new bars soon enough.[ Read More... ]

ooo fiber glass bars are slippery!!

the fiber glass (like black spots) are starting to show on one set of the gym's bars, so we're getting a new set to replace them! i think it's going to be the regular cable size ones - the ones that aren't space savers, cuz it will fit and you get a good amount of bounce plus sturdiness together! :D we have one set of the space savers kind also, for the lower levels practice mostly.

Me too! In rhythmic gymnastics it's allowed to wear even pants...artistic gymnastics should catch up! ...like in swimming too, lots of the swimmers wear full body suits (to go faster in the water).
