You could outline the issues for him, and ask him to please address them. He's the president of the booster club, not the gymnastics club right? So he's a parent too? If he won't set up a meeting for discussion why not go direct to the gym owners if he thinks there is no problem to discuss. at my gym we just move up to the next level when we're ready - there's no real formal testing. :D

aaaaaaaaaaa the skill sheets! Sometimes I agree with you too - it does get in the way of actually doing gymnastics - especially when the coaches sit down all the gymnasts to watch each routine, one by one.

How much / often do the kids get tested for skills and conditioning at your gym? Does it get in the way of actually doing the class / gymnastics practice? At this gym seems like the testing sheets are always flying around...it's like...teach them something!
