Walking V-ups with ankle weights work good, and then when they are easy for you, you could also hold dumb bells weights like 4 pounds each too - so then that's some legs conditioning, abs conditioning, and arms conditioning!

Maybe it could strain your back/ be harder on your back if the weights feel heavy for you for doing v-ups. You could do walking v-ups with weights; that is easier on the back I think. When your lower back hurts, sometimes v-ups make it hurt more, and then you can just do walking v-ups and other conditioning instead,

We do v-ups with 5 pound pair ankle weights. Another option would be to do more reps instead of the weights.

First of all I do not do v-ups with ankle weights at my gym. Secondly, if you keep your back hollow, I don't see any reason why it would hurt your back, but I'm not an expert.

Do you think doing V-ups with ankle weights on will hurt your lower back? Is it better to do V-ups without ankle weights, and then just do more or something? Do you guys do V-ups with weights on at your gym?
