Former Towson University gymnast Kacy Catanzaro is going to Mt. Midoriyama, Las Vegas, qualifying to the finals in the "American Ninja Warrior" competition. Catanzaro, who was NCAA Southeast Regional Gymnast of the Year, was one of only 8 contestants who completed the American Ninja Warrior qualifying course successfully. Great first day of competition for Mihai's gymnasts Aly Raisman and Alicia Sacramone. 4 strong routines by Chellsie Memmel. Jordyn Weiber places first. Rebecca Bross good comeback after 2 shaky events bars and beam, landing all her tumbling passes on floor.

Shawn Johnson is back to elite. Chellsie Memmel is back to elite. Alicia sacramone is back to elite. ...Agree with you on Nastia Liukin....Alicia was saying how she needed 2 years before the London 2012 Olympics to feel ready, and that she wouldn't want to leave just 1 year of competing/making the comeback like Shawn and Chellsie... Alicia had a lot of power and height in her floor routine, and did great. She had 3 years off on that event. She did go 4 times out of bounds on her passes, but she will probably smooth that out for Visas.
