Hi! Are you doing roundoff - back handspring - layout? To get your layout high, make sure to set up, arms next to ears, and have good speed in the connection skills. Keep your body tight. The set and good/correct punch is what makes a high layout. At my gym we also practice it on the tumble track and on the floor row with the pit (so the layout is into the pit). For the flyaway on bars, don't let go too soon, or else your flip will be under the bar - don't let go too late or else it will cause you to pull the bar and you might hit it then - let go right as you are horizontal/right above horizontal, and make sure to also tap early (not late like for giants). This is also good to practice into the pit. For front handspring front tuck: make sure to get a good push off your hands on the front handspring. If you're having trouble with the connection to front tuck, you could try to do front handspring front roll first, then do front handspring front tuck on the tumble track and then on floor pit if you have one (so the tuck part is into the pit). Another tip: keep your arms by your ears - have a good set! The coaches say that a lot you know! Also check with your coach of course! :D

Also helps to get spot for the ro-bhs-layout and connection for front hs front tuck as you learn it. Don't rush to the front tuck too quickly after the front handspring - make sure you finish the front handspring, then punch up with your arms to your ears for the front tuck. Actually same for the ro-bhs-layout - make sure you finish the ro and bhs and don't rush to the layout too quickly, then set up with arms to ears for the high layout.
