Bars Neoprene Wristbands vs. Terry Wristbands- which better?
Neoprene Wristbands versus Terry Wristbands for bars- which do you prefer and think is better? The neoprene wristbands are those really tight ones that don't move at all when you use them - but they are REALLY TIGHT! The Terry wristbands are the ones that are soft like cotton, but they do move a bit - but hey, that also means you have the breathing room for your skin and blood circulation! Plus, if you get the longer size 5" long versus 3" long, then you can pull them up past your wrist and cover a little bit the side edge of your hand where you can get rips from your grips moving to the side. I tried the neoprene wrist bands before after having used the terry wristbands for years, and I switched back to the terry kind after like 5 minutes of using the neoprene wrist bands - they felt sooo tight!! Too tight!! But some of the girls do wear them and like them, saying that it helps with not getting rips on their wrists.

I like the terry bands better too. Another thing gymnasts using the neoprene ones say also is that they don't smell or get all smelly-looking as fast or as bad as the terry ones. But better to wash your wrist bands anyways!
