Tylenol Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular was taped last Sunday in Oklahoma City and will air on tv Fevruary 9th on NBC! Last 2 years it was called Hilton Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular, remember - it's the same kind of set-up though, ice-skating with gymnastics, and even some gymnastics on the ice with ice skates on! Gymnastics cast include: 2004 Olympic gold medalists Paul Hamm and Catalina Ponor and world champions Nastia Liukin (she was in the 2005 edition of the show) and Ivan Ivankov: performing 2 or 3 events each, incl. the floor, beam, p-bars, rings, and high bar Skating cast include: 2006 Olympic champions Evgeni Plushenko and Shizuka Arakawa, Surya Bonaly (former gymnast), Michael Weiss (dad was a 1964 Olympic gymnast and actually was the one to teach many ice skaters the back flip on ice, including to Scott Hamilton) - Surya and Weiss both performed back flips on the ice on the show.
