Anyone Know What Happened???

You mean this club at http://www.gymchat.com/listings/details.php?listing=438 ? According to this, it's moving to "The Gymnastics Place" (http://www.gymchat.com/listings/details.php?listing=1700) in Dallas, Texas. Wow, there are a lot of high programs listed under the Dallas Gymnastics club listing - Women's Elite, Team Rythmic, Trampoline & Tumbling Elite!! The gymnastics club I went to before had to close because the gym owner couldn't keep up with the rent and costs of it - he moved to a nearby gymnastics club - some followed, some went to other gyms. Maybe it's something like that.

Yes I do know that, I paid several hundred dollars to that gym for my children, and am unable to get in touch with the owner...does not return calls or emails....the other gym that she has gone to I would not step foot in nor would I want children attatched to DGC....How can one take money knowing that that the gym is closing the next day...sounds like fraud to me. Not everyone is always honest

Yes, she should have said that the gym is closing before taking people's money - maybe they don't want to go to the other gym. You could try complaining to BBB - the Better Business Bureau, if she doesn't answer your calls or emails. What's wrong with The Gymnastics Place - not good equipment, or instruction, or bad reputation? Either way, it is wrong for her to take your money when she knows she can't offer the services at Dallas Gymnastics and doesn't tell you either.

flipforfun: you could also try a local tv station that offers consumer help - like in California on channel ABC we have "Finney on Your Side". BBB also good option. Their web is http://www.bbb.org . If she didn't already cash the checks, you could cancel them, or if it was paid by credit card, maybe you could canel that. According to the Dallas Gymnastics web, she's going to The Gymnastics Place gym, so you could also go there and confront her if you would like...or try the other options.
