Apparently the 'easy fix' for gymnastics club owners/managers to a complaining parent is to kick you out of the gym - not listen to the issue. Anyone else have this problem? Such poor management and uncaring for the children. People with the beliefs that $$ trumps all, even at the expense of the children's well-being should not be in the business that provides services to children, the most innocent and most trusting. Perhaps such people are too used to taking advantage of the trusting and accepting nature of children, and being the one that is 'always right' - the one in charge, 'listen or get out of class' is the philosophy they use with the gym kids. No wonder there are stories of gymnasts who do not get their injuries heard and they just dismiss it as 'complaining'.
No freedom of speech in this gymnastics club. Parents have to feel like they are walking on egg shells if they want to complain about something. There is a booster club and booster club meetings with parents, but the head of it overseeing it is one of the owners/managers. It is an 'incorporated' club, so I guess technically they are the President/Vice President, managers, etc.. not the 'owners' - but they are listed on the gym website as the 'owners'. Weird.
Club owners out there: What do you do in your gym with a complaining parent?
