Gleneagles Hotel welcomed the symbol of the Commonwealth Games as the Queen's Baton relay passed through the Perthshire Ryder Cup venue on Saturday. The 2014 Commonwealth Games is being held in Glasgow from July 23 - August 3 in what is a stellar year of sport in Scotland with The 2014 Ryder Cup also being hosted at Gleneagles from September 26-28. Scottish golfer Catriona Matthew was present at Gleneagles to welcome the baton, which arrived in spectacular fashion by parachute, and was seen alongside the famous bronze Samuel Ryder Trophy.
