Former European junior time-trial champion Ilnur Zakarin has been banned for doping along with two other Russian cyclists. The Russian cycling federation says the 19-year-old Zakarin was banned for two years for testing positive for an undisclosed substance. Zakarin won the European junior time-trial title in 2007.
