CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In a closely contested meet, the host MIT women's gymnastics' team fell to SUNY Brockport, 187.600 - 182.150 last Saturday. Senior standout Julia Zimmerman led the Engineers with a score of 37.550 in the all around, while registering stunning tallies of 9.725 on the on the floor, 9.550 on the vault, 9.550 on the bars, and 8.775 on the beam. Also faring well for MIT were Beth Stavely and Katie Mingo, who tallied 36.875 and 36.300 in the all around, respectively. Stavely checked in with scores of 9.325 on the vault, 9.300 on the floor, 9.250 on the beam, and 9.00 on the bars. Mingo scored 9.550 on the floor, 9.250 on the beam, 9.100 on the vault, and 8.400 on the bars.
