CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In its first home meet of the 2009 campaign, the MIT men's gymnastics team recorded a total of 309.05, which was enough to defeat the University of Vermont (171.35) but it could not overcome the standard of 326.05 set by Springfield College on Saturday.
