CORTLAND, N.Y. - It may not have been the best day for the MIT gymnastics team, and a broken down bus in frigid cold temperatures didn't help the cause, but the Engineers continued to get a strong effort from their youthful talent, particularly that of freshmen sensations Leanna Morinishi and Karis Stevenson, who placed second and fourth in the all-around with scores of 35.450 and 32.875, respectively, at the four-team meet hosted by SUNY Cortland this past Saturday. As a team, the Cardinal and Gray finished fourth with a score of 170.425. Ithaca College won the event with a tally of 182.25, while Southern Connecticut State University and Cortland ranked second and third with counts of 181.80 and 177.625.
