University of Maryland senior right-hander Jake Stinnett threw the seventh no-hitter in school history, striking out nine in a 4-0 victory over the University of Massachusetts on Saturday. Stinnett (2-1) struck out Paul Yanakopulous in the ninth inning of the first game of a doubleheader to finish off the Terrapins' first no-hitter since Scott Swinson blanked Delaware in 2008. It was also the school's first no-no at home since five pitchers combined to beat Coppin State in 2007.
