Right-hander Mark Lowe and the Texas Rangers have agreed to a $1.7 million, one-year contract, a raise of $500,000. The Rangers on Tuesday also said they had agreed to a one-year deal with outfielder David Murphy worth $3.625 million, a substantial raise from the $2.4 million he made last year. Murphy batted .275 with 11 homers and 46 RBI in 120 games with the Rangers in 2011.
