San Francisco third baseman Pablo Sandoval has been scratched from the Giants' starting lineup against Colorado after straining his right triceps during batting practice. Sandoval was replaced by Mark DeRosa in Wednesday's starting lineup. The Giants said Sandoval was day to day.
