If you were outside AT&T Park, around McCovey Cove, and even in the stands watching the SF Giants vs Texas Rangers in the 2010 MLB World Series, you probably smelled the marijuana smoke, and saw the smoke in the air too - it wasn't the San Francisco fog. And it made the news, the most popular video is probably the Texas sports reporter Newy Scruggs who instead of talking about the Rangers losing after Game 1 of the World Series, talks about the smell of weed and his surprise of seeing the people smoking by the "weed rock" in McCovey Cove out in the open and the cops doing nothing. Scruggs said it's better than in New York when they were playing the Yankees and the fans spit on them - in San Francisco the people were laid back and high on life...and the grass.
