Total rip off - the judges missed out on the deductions for Cheng Fei's vault - it wasn't just the landing that she got deductions on, which she fell on her knees, and put both hands down, but also on her form and exection of the vault, before the landing: legs apart, not square and wrong position hands when hitting the vault. This release move is awesome by He Hexin, but the gold should have gone to Nastia Liukin. Nastia stuck her landing, and had fewer deductions - her execution "B" score should have been higher, and it shouldn't have gone to a tie. As Tim Daggett notes on the NBC coverage, the judges on the final panel can't be from the country of the competitiors, so for example in this final, no Russian judge,[ Read More... ]
