How to start your own gymnastics club
I found this page regarding how to start your own gymnastics club when I was surfing the web , if anyone is interested: http://www.gymcan.org/provs/nf/howto.html So true:
Keep the classes interesting and active. Avoid having a child sitting waiting for a turn. Ensure that the atmosphere in the gym is positive. The attitude of a coach transfers to the entire class. Ensure that criticism is given in a positive manner. Highlight the parts of an activity that were done correctly rather than those parts that were weaker. Make sure that what is being said is being understood. Use demonstrations rather than long explanations.
It's good to have the head coach be Level 4 certified (qualified to coach elite, according to the guidelines) I say. Or at least the highest level qualified coach there, to avoid friction between someone who has more experience and feels more qualified in making the team decisions (and probably is). Also, surroundings of the building you choose to have your gymnastics club is also very important. Equipment and great coaches important a lot. Perhaps most important of all when starting your own gymnastics club is....be in it for the love of gymnastics not for the $, don't revolve your policies around cutting corners and counting pennies...look at the big picture while caring about the details.

Good tip on checking the ceiling height of the building for your gymnastics club! Needs to be high! That is probably why so many clubs are in what used to be warehouses.

Business classes. If it is a gymnastics gym it would also be good if you were experienced in gymnastics - it will help in choosing coaches, equipment, etc. Also check out the USA Gymnastics website regarding coaches/club membership.
