I start at my new gymnastics club tomorrow! I'm so happy I switched clubs. This new one is so much more like a family than a business. In my old gymnastics club the owners don't care about the gymnasts at all. Everything was about making money. It's like, where's the passion there? My coach is switching too! So, better facility, better coaches, and better gym owners! It's exciting! Winter's coming, so looking forward to having practice in a heated gym rather than a cave!

Hey Sasha, How's ur new club? My cousin switched to my gym for the same reason too! :D She just switched this last week cuz it's the beginning of the month, in time for the cold winter. Must have been hard practicing in a cave! :wink:

Cool! It's lots of fun in this new gym! It really does make a difference practicing in a warm gym rather than a cave - cold, and actually yes, dark too - apparently, the gym owners couldn't spare a penny of profit....anyways, this new gym is really great, and very friendly, with great team results too! p.s.: I already learned to do this new skill here I was working on bars :D ...the tkatchev!

Too bad you had to deal with clubs like that! Good move on the switch :wink: My club is like your new one - more like a family than a business. And we can actually talk with the gym owners who actually are our coaches too -- maybe that's the difference -- that they coach us too. This year we got to change our chalk - it's a bit more expensive, but so worth it. Our coaches brought up the idea first, b/c this other chalk we were using was getting shipped to us with worse and worse quality each time from the manufacturers. Great gyms rock! :D

A good club with good coaches that doesn't just think about the $$ but really love gymnastics is really great!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D lots of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After all the problems like you said sasha, I'm going to switch gyms too! ...in the middle of the month too, b/c they are too annoying and it's just a bad gymnastics - or anywhere - environment. yay for the good gyms that teach the horrible gyms how it is supposed to be! :D
