1) First step is to sign up! And if you're under 13 years old, get your parents permission.
Go to the "player webpages" link on the left menu and click the Sign Up button there, or you can also click here for the direct player webpages sign up link.

On the sign up form, fill in the fields (state and city are optional fields so you don't have to fill those in if you don't want to). **MAKE SURE ON THE WEBPAGES USERNAME FIELD YOU ONLY INPUT IN YOUR USERNAME, NOT THE WHOLE WEB ADDRESS WITH THE HTTP://GYMCHAT.COM PART!!** Don't worry, if you would like to change your username later, you can do so from your Account Control Panel. Click on the SIGN UP! button at the bottom of the form when you are done. If they are any problems with your sign up registration form, a pop-up alert box will let you know and tell you how to fix it. When your registration is complete, the page will go to the confirmation page, telling you that we have sent you the automatic email confirmation of your new player web!

2) Go to your email (the email you put it your sign up form) to check for your Player Webpages email about your new free web account! The subject line of the email is "Your gymchat.com player webpages registration", and the From line is admin@gymchat.com. If you don't find it in your email, check that it hasn't gone in your Junk/Spam box, and add "admin@gymchat.com to your 'Allowed' list. Open the email, you will have a link there you need to click to activate your player web account yourself so that you can start using (if the link in your email is not clickable for you, you can copy/paste the link into your web browser as the email says). If you are under 13 years old, your player web username you have chosen is reserved for you and the link in the email is to the Gym Chat Player Webpages Parental Consent Form: http://www.gymchat.com/playerwebs/parentalconsent.php . Ask your parent/guardian to read and sign it for you and either scan/email or fax it back to Gym Chat and we will then manually activate your account for you. We check emails and faxes throughout the day.

3) How do you know if your account is activated and ready to use?
If you are 13 years old or over, when you click the link you get in your player webpages email, that will activate it for you and you will get a confirmation webpage telling you that your Gym Chat player web account is now activated and ready to use. If you are under 13 years old, then we will send you a confirmation email when we have activated your web account for you. If you have any questions on your account and whether it is activated or not, just email us at admin@gymchat.com !

4) Ok, so your account is activated, now what?
Now you can log on and start designing your player web! To log on, go to the log in box from the player webpages homepage by clicking the "player webpages" link from the links menu on the left of the page, or go to your player web account URL address which is http://gymchat.com/your_username - the your_username part is whatever username you have chosen in your sign up form, and click the "Log in" link there at the top right. You get to the same green login box either way, at http://gymchat.com/playerwebs . To log in, you just need to input in your Email Address and the password you have chosen in your sign up form. If you have forgotten your password, you can check your registration confirmation email, or you can also just click the "Forgot your Password" link in the login box and your password will be emailed to you.

5) After Logging in...!
After you have logged in, it will take you to your player webpages homepage. You know you are logged in when the top right of you homepage has a "Logout" link for you, instead of a "Login" link:

Also, when you are logged in, you get access to your own admin control panels! The 3 buttons are there for you under your left links menu - they are: "Edit Style", "Edit Content", and "Edit Account"

As you have guessed, the Edit Style button goes to the admin page so that you can customize and create the design you want for your player web, the Edit Content button goes to the admin page for editing and uploading the content to your player web (like info, pictures, videos, etc.), and the Edit Account button goes to the admin page for making changes to your account (such as username changes, webpages setting, post settings, etc.) The admin pages are just forms you fill in, and then click the button at the end of the form to have your changes made to your player website.
