1)
First step is to sign up! And if you're under 13
years old, get your parents
permission.
On the
sign up form, fill in the fields (state and city
are optional fields so you don't have to fill those
in if you don't want to).
**MAKE SURE ON THE WEBPAGES USERNAME FIELD YOU ONLY
INPUT IN YOUR USERNAME, NOT THE WHOLE WEB ADDRESS
WITH THE HTTP://GYMCHAT.COM PART!!**
Don't worry, if you would like to change your username
later, you can do so from your Account Control Panel.
Click on the SIGN UP! button at the bottom of the
form when you are done. If they are any problems
with your sign up registration form, either a pop-up
alert box will let you know or a notice on top of
the form and tell you how to fix it. When your registration
is complete, the page will go to the confirmation
page, telling you that we have sent you the automatic
email confirmation of your new player web!

Go to your email (the email you put it your sign
up form) to get your Player Website activation link!
The subject line of the email is "Your gymchat.com
player webpages registration", and the From
line is admin@gymchat.com. If you don't find it
in your email, check that it hasn't gone in your
Junk/Spam box, and add "admin@gymchat.com
to your 'Allowed' list. Open the email,
you will have a link there you need to click to
activate your player web account yourself so that
you can start using it (if the link in your email
is not clickable for you, you can copy/paste the
link into your web browser as the email says).
If you are under 13 years old, your player web username
you have chosen is reserved for you and the link
in the email is to the Gym Chat Player Website Parental
Consent Form: http://www.gymchat.com/playerwebs/parentalconsent.php
. Ask your parent/guardian to read and sign it for
you and either scan/email or fax it back to Gym
Chat and we will then manually activate your account
for you. We check emails and faxes throughout the
day.

How do you know if your account is activated and
ready to use?
If you are 13 years old or over, when you click
the link you get in your Gym Chat player website
activation email, that will activate it for you
and you will get a confirmation webpage telling
you that your Gym Chat player web account is now
activated and ready to use. If you are under 13
years old, then we will send you a confirmation
email when we have activated your web account for
you. If you have any questions on your account and
whether it is activated or not, just contact
us!

Ok, so your account is activated, now what?
Now you can log on and start designing your
player web! You can login from any Gym Chat page
by inputing in your username and password in the
login boxes at the top left, make sure the "Individual"
radio button is selected, and click the Login button.
If you have forgotten your username/password, you
can check your registration confirmation email,
or you can also just click the "Forgot Login"
link at the top of any Gym Chat page, and follow
the instructions there for your username/password
to be emailed to you again.

After Logging in...!
After you have logged in, you can easily go to your
player website homepage by clicking on your username
tab displayed on the top left of all the Gym Chat
pages - mouseover it for options to go to your various
player account sections.
When you
are logged in, you get access to your own admin
control panels. The 3 admin buttons are there for
you under your profile photo on your player website
(left side column) - they are: "Edit Style",
"Edit Content", and "Edit Account"
As you
have guessed, the Edit Style button goes to the
admin page so that you can customize and create
the design you want for your player web, the Edit
Content button goes to the admin page for editing
and uploading the content to your player web (like
info, schedules, etc.), and the Edit Account button
goes to the admin page for making changes to your
account (such as username changes, webpages setting,
post settings, etc.) The admin pages are just forms
you fill in, and then click the button at the end
of the form to have your changes made to your player
website. You can post to your blog by clicking on
the "Post to your blog" button on the
left side column under your profile photo/admin
icons. You can post quick hits directly from your
player homepage by typing in your quick hit in the
box provided there when you are logged in, and then
just click the "Post" button under it
to get it posted.

the instructions on the admin pages, and you will
have your very own customized player web! If you
